Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Under this name the club has played 21 seasons at 1,681-1,619, won five division titles and never reached a World Series. The name itself was a compromise: the club plays in Anaheim, took the Los Angeles name in 2005 for the larger market, and carried both for fifteen years.

The best season is 2008, at 100-62, which ended in the first round. Nothing has been poorer than 2024, at 63-99. Home throughout has been Angel Stadium, which opened in 1966 and is the fourth-oldest park in the game.

One Hall of Famer has played here so far, Vladimir Guerrero, who won the Most Valuable Player award with the club in 2004. Mike Trout has spent his entire career with the Angels and won three of his own, and the club has reached the postseason once in his fifteen seasons. Mike Scioscia managed for fourteen years under this name and won 1,222 games.
