Zack Greinke pitched for the Kansas City Royals for his first seven seasons before moving through Milwaukee, the Angels, the Dodgers, Arizona, Houston and back to Kansas City, closing out the record on file in 2023.
He won 225 games against 156 losses, with a 3.49 earned run average across 3,389 innings pitched, striking out 2,979 batters and completing 17 of his 541 starts across nearly two decades on the mound.
He took the Cy Young Award in 2009 and won six Gold Gloves between 2014 and 2019, an unusually decorated defensive record for a pitcher, along with two Silver Sluggers.
His All-Star selections numbered five, the first in 2009 and the last in 2019. He was born in Orlando, Florida, on October 21, 1983, batting and throwing right-handed.
