Tex Burnett caught for fourteen clubs that the record can name between 1922 and 1941, which by the standards of eastern Black baseball was normal rather than remarkable — rosters were small, seasons were short, and a catcher who could be relied on found work wherever a club had lost one.
The Brooklyn Royal Giants, the New York Lincoln Giants, the Homestead Grays, the Black Yankees, the Brooklyn Eagles and the Newark Eagles all had him, several more than once. He also managed briefly late in his career.
Born in Houston on Christmas Eve 1899, Burnett batted .255 with 220 hits across 283 recorded games. He was sixty-two when he died, in February 1962.

Seasons outside MLB's recognized major leagues appear in All seasons, but not in Major leagues or the leaderboards. For Tex Burnett, that is 1931–1934. Why totals can differ.
