Joe Carter played across six clubs and three outfield positions, from the Cubs and Indians early in his career to a seven-year run in Toronto that included two World Series titles, closing out his career in 1998.

He hit 396 home runs and drove in 1,445 runs over 2,189 games, batting .259 with 2,184 hits and 231 stolen bases, a run-producing game built on consistent power.

Two Silver Sluggers came in 1991 and 1992, and he was a Sporting News All-Star both of those years too.

The All-Star Game called on him five times, first in 1991 and last in 1996. Born in Oklahoma City on March 7, 1960, he batted and threw right-handed.
