Camilo Pascual pitched for the Washington Senators across two separate stretches of his career, the franchise's move to Minnesota splitting them, and later played for Cincinnati, the Dodgers and Cleveland before retiring in 1971.
He went 174-170 with a 3.63 earned run average, completing 132 of his 404 starts and throwing 36 shutouts over 2,930 innings pitched. He struck out 2,167 batters across that long career, a rate that stood out among his contemporaries.
Five All-Star selections came in consecutive fashion, from 1959 through 1964, the peak years of a two-decade career on the mound.
