Juan Uribe Marquee

He was the shortstop for Chicago in 2005 and made the last two plays of that World Series, and in 2010 he hit the eighth-inning home run that won the sixth game of the Championship Series for San Francisco and sent it to a World Series it won. He hit 24 home runs that season.

Sixteen seasons gave him 1,568 hits, 199 home runs, 816 runs batted in and a .255 average, at shortstop, third base and second. He hit 23 or more home runs three times and was never chosen for an All-Star team.

He was Dominican, signed by Colorado at eighteen, and was among the most popular teammates of his era in three different clubhouses — the Dodgers made a video about it when he was traded. He is not on a Hall of Fame ballot.
