Ian Kennedy Marquee

He went 21-4 with a 2.88 earned run average for Arizona in 2011, leading the National League in wins, and finished fourth in the Cy Young voting at twenty-six. It was the one season of that size he had: seventeen years gave him 104 wins against 114 and a 4.16 earned run average.

Kansas City moved him to the bullpen in 2019 after three losing seasons as a starter, and he saved 30 games with a 3.41 earned run average, which almost no pitcher of his age and record manages. He saved 66 in all.

The Yankees drafted him in the first round out of Southern California in 2006 and traded him to Arizona in the three-club deal for Curtis Granderson. He was never an All-Star. He is not yet on a Hall of Fame ballot.
