Boehler's largest season came with Detroit in 1914. He made 18 appearances, six of them starts, and went 2-3 with a 3.57 earned run average across 63 innings. He struck out 37 and completed two games.
Nine seasons gave him a 6-12 record, 93 strikeouts and a 4.71 earned run average in 202 innings. Boehler started 18 of his 61 appearances, completed seven games and never threw a shutout. His career contained no recorded save.
Detroit brought Boehler up in 1912 and used him across five seasons. He returned with the Browns in 1920 and 1921, then made 10 appearances for Pittsburgh in 1923. His final season came with Brooklyn in 1926: a 1-0 record across 10 games and 34 innings. That closed a fifteen-year span with four organizations. He died in 1958, at sixty-five.
