Frank Foreman pitched in the Union Association, the American Association, the National League and the American League — four circuits recognized as major — which very few players managed, and which took him nineteen years and a great deal of moving.

He was a Baltimore man and pitched for a Baltimore club in five separate spells across three decades, the last of them in 1901 and 1902 when the Orioles were an original American League franchise. He completed 169 of his 205 starts.

Born in Baltimore in 1863, Foreman finished 96-93 with 586 strikeouts. He lived to ninety-four, dying in November 1957, and his brother Brownie pitched briefly in the majors as well.
