Fifteen seasons gave him 137 saves and a 3.21 earned run average across 722 innings and 821 games. He saved 38 games in 2013 and won World Series titles with the Giants in 2010, 2012 and 2014.
He is Mexican-American, from Brawley, California, was drafted in the twenty-eighth round out of a Division II college, and is five foot ten. He was an All-Star in 2013. He is not on a Hall of Fame ballot.
