Kevin Millwood Marquee

b. December 24, 1974 · Atlanta Braves 1997–2002, Philadelphia Phillies 2003–2004, Cleveland Indians 2005, Texas Rangers 2006–2009, Baltimore Orioles 2010, Colorado Rockies 2011, Seattle Mariners 2012

His 2.86 in 2005 for Cleveland was the lowest in the American League, ahead of Johan Santana, and his record was 9-11, which is the cleanest illustration available of what a pitcher's win total measures. Six years earlier he had gone 18-7 with a 2.68 for Atlanta and finished third in the Cy Young voting.

On April 27, 2003 he no-hit San Francisco at Veterans Stadium in his first season with Philadelphia. Sixteen seasons gave him 169 wins against 152, a 4.11 earned run average, 2,720 innings and 2,083 strikeouts, for seven clubs.

He came up with the Braves behind Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and John Smoltz, which is the hardest rotation in the game to be fourth in, and won 18 games in it. The 2018 ballot gave him no votes at all.
