Johnny Miljus Marquee

Miljus received his largest workload with Cleveland in 1929. He made 34 appearances and 15 starts, went 8-8 with two saves and worked 128 innings. He completed four games and struck out 42.
Seven seasons gave him a 29-26 record, five saves, 166 strikeouts and a 3.92 earned run average in 457 innings. He started 45 of his 127 appearances, completed 15 games and threw two shutouts. His best record was 6-3 for Brooklyn in 1921.
Miljus debuted with the Federal League's Pittsburgh Rebels in 1915 and pitched for Brooklyn in 1917 and from 1920 through 1921. Five seasons outside the majors followed before he returned with the Pirates in 1927. He moved from Pittsburgh to Cleveland during 1928 and finished there the next year. He died in 1976, at eighty.
