Six seasons gave him a 14-15 record, 12 saves, 103 strikeouts and a 4.16 earned run average in 307 innings. He started 12 of his 119 appearances and completed eight games. His largest workload came in 1929, when he worked 154 innings and went 9-9 with four saves.
The Browns first used Haid for one game in 1919. His Cardinals return lasted through 1930, followed by a season with Boston. After sitting out 1932, he made six final appearances for the White Sox in 1933. His recognized career therefore stretched across fifteen calendar years. He died in 1952, at fifty-four.
