Chris Sabo played third base for the Cincinnati Reds for six seasons before brief stops in Baltimore, Chicago and St. Louis, and a final season back in Cincinnati, retiring in 1996.

He batted .268 with 898 hits over 911 games, hitting 116 home runs and stealing 120 bases, a well-rounded game across a relatively short nine-season career.

His three All-Star selections came in his first four seasons, in 1988, 1990 and 1991, the early stretch of a career that closed out across four different clubs.

He was born in Detroit on January 19, 1962, and batted and threw right-handed, playing his final three seasons across four different clubs.
