Cliff Lee pitched for the Cleveland Indians for his first eight seasons before a series of trades sent him through Philadelphia, Seattle and Texas, and eventually back to the Phillies for a second stint that closed out his career in 2014.
He went 143-91 with a 3.52 earned run average over 2,156 innings pitched, completing 29 of his 324 starts and throwing 12 shutouts. He struck out 1,824 batters.
He won the Cy Young Award in 2008 and took the Comeback Player and Outstanding Pitcher recognitions from the MLB Players Choice awards that same year.
