Greg Gagne Marquee

He was the shortstop for the 1987 and 1991 Twins, the two championships that franchise has, and he started every World Series game in both. He hit 12 home runs in 1986 — two of them inside the park in the same game on October 4, which almost nobody has done.

Fifteen seasons gave him 1,440 hits, 296 doubles, 111 home runs, 604 runs batted in and a .254 average, with 1,765 games at shortstop. He was never an All-Star and never won a Gold Glove, and every club he played for won more with him than without.

Kansas City had him for three years and the Dodgers for his last two, where he hit .255 in 1997 at thirty-five and stopped. No Hall of Fame ballot has listed him.
