Estel Crabtree Marquee

Crabtree's largest season came with Cincinnati in 1931. He played 117 games, collected 119 hits, scored 70 runs and hit four home runs while batting .269. The games, hits, runs and home runs were career highs.

Eight seasons gave him 396 hits, 53 doubles, 25 triples, 142 runs batted in and a .281 average across 489 games. He played 337 games in the outfield and only nine at other positions. His career was spread across sixteen calendar years.

Cincinnati brought Crabtree up in 1929 and used him through 1932. He joined St. Louis in 1933, returned in 1941 and 1942, then finished with Cincinnati in 1943 and 1944. He received Most Valuable Player votes after playing 77 games in 1941. His five home runs and .341 average that year were career highs. He died in 1967, at sixty-three.
