Don Money Marquee

In 1974 he played 157 games at third base for Milwaukee and made five errors, a fielding percentage of .989 that stood as the record for a decade, and he went 88 consecutive games without one. Sixteen seasons gave him 1,623 hits, 176 home runs, 729 runs batted in and a .261 average, with four All-Star selections.

Philadelphia traded him to Milwaukee after 1972 in a seven-player deal for Jim Lonborg and Ken Brett, and he played eleven seasons for the Brewers at third, second, short and first. He hit 25 home runs in 1977.

In April 1976 he hit a grand slam at Yankee Stadium that was disallowed because the umpire had called time, and Milwaukee lost the game by one run; it is the play the rule about calling time is taught with. The 1989 ballot gave him one vote of 447.
