He has made 451 starts for Los Angeles and none for anyone else, giving up 804 earned runs in 2,855 innings. He won the Cy Young Award in 2011, 2013 and 2014, and the Most Valuable Player award in 2014, when he went 21-3. He led the National League in wins three times, in strikeouts three times and in shutouts three times.
His 301 strikeouts in 2015 are the most he has had in a season, and he no-hit Colorado 8-0 on June 18, 2014. He is 223-96 in all, and eight men have won more games than that for a single club. He has been chosen for eleven All-Star teams, the most recent in 2025.
He entered 2025 with 2,968 strikeouts and finished the season with 3,052. Los Angeles won the World Series in 2020 and again in 2024. He has not appeared on a Hall of Fame ballot; eighteen seasons in, he made 22 starts in 2025 and went 11-2.
