Born July 28, 1893
Oklahoma City, OK, USA
He pitched 210 games and went 115-52 with 900 strikeouts and 18 shutouts, leading his league in strikeouts four times and in wins three. He also played 395 games in the outfield and had 680 hits at a .335 average, which is not a pitcher's line. Very few players in this archive did both things well and none of them did it for as long.
Thirteen seasons from 1920, all with the Monarchs and no other club. He was chosen for two East-West All-Star games, late in his career, since the game did not begin until 1933. The totals are partial: these statistics were not kept with the resources the white major leagues had.
He came to the Monarchs at twenty-six, having spent his twenties pitching for army teams in the segregated 25th Infantry, which the archive does not record at all. He umpired in the Negro American League after he stopped playing. The Veterans Committee elected him in 1998, thirty-one years after he died.

Seasons outside MLB's recognized major leagues appear in All seasons, but not in Major leagues or the leaderboards. For Bullet Rogan, that is 1933–1936. Why totals can differ.
Oklahoma City, OK, USA
Bullet Rogan played a final major-league game on August 23, 1938.
